Caerphilly County Borough Council
The new headquarters for Caerphilly County Borough Council comprises two 'wings' providing over 14000m2 of open plan office accommodation over four floors, linked by a central atrium housing the communal facilities.
Located on a brownfield site - a former National Coal Board site - the development also required extensive land reclamation to the new car parking area together with modified surface water management works.
The development boasts one of the largest ground source heating installations with over a hundred 100m deep boreholes across the site and has an 'excellent' BREEAM rating.
