Newport Local General Hospital

The new 371-bed, £110m hospital in Newport is part of the Gwent Healthcare Trust's Clinical Future programme rationalising its healthcare solutions and buildings.

The proposed new hospital, located on a brownfield site, will include a local emergency centre, diagnostic and treatment centre including an ambulatory care centre, imaging theatre and endoscopy and integrated therapies, an integrated inpatient unit, mental healthcare services and maternity and children's services.

Clarke Bond is providing structural, civil and geoenvironmental services as part of its multidiscipline Designed for Life: Building for Wales Framework agreement.
