This brand new development on the outskirts of Abuja, Nigeria will include 11,217 quality new homes on 423 ha of greenfield land set within a sustainable development framework. This mixed-use site will include a soccer academy, golf course, health clinic, schools, business centres, supermarkets, quality open space utilising the river which bisects the site. It is anticipated to have a 6-8 year build programme.
The project is fast track and the development will set new standards in the provision of a modern community which follows a strict sustainability agenda and state of the art provision of services. A modular panel construction methodology is to be used for all buildings. This will ensure quality of finishes and enable up to 200 units to be constructed per month.
Clarke Bond is responsible for management of the development process including site acquisition, contract documentation and negotiation of the JV Agreement with the Nigerian Government. As project managers we are responsible for the design delivery, coordination of the design team and liaison with the client team. Once the site works commence we will monitor and supervise site activities and report to the Special Purpose Vehicle on progress and contractual issues.
Clarke Bond are responsible for all surveys linked to environmental impact assessment, topographic and ground surveys. We are also responsible for supporting the masterplanning process and all engineering aspects of the project.
