Queens Hill

Queen's Hills

Over 1,500 residential units, a village centre, playing field and new county primary school are proposed for this former sand and gravel quarry site west of Costessey in the Tud Valley.

Working for Cofton Land, clarkebond undertook due diligence work in support of the site acquisition and subsequently as lead consultant designed the site formation, 1km access road with a bridge over the river Tud and several kilometres of adoptable spine roads.

The site is an exemplar of sustainable urban drainage (SUDs) with large infiltrations ponds employing turf reinforcement settlement areas and gabion filter wall developed with agreement from the Environment Agency.
